A computed tomography (CT or CAT) scan allows scan allows us to see the knee in 3 dimensions. We are able to evaluated each compartment individually. We are also able to achieve a neutral mechanical axis with a Cat Scan. The Conformis System relies on the Cat Scan for the custom design of the implant.
