Hyaluronic Acid is found in healthy cartilage. The way Hyaluronic Acid or Gel Injections such as Euflexxa or Synvisc work is that they trick the knee into thinking that your cartilage is healthy. They do not repair cartilage and they do not rebuild cartilage.
